Junior Austin Schley drained a three-point jumper with 52.5 seconds remaining to give Cedar Park Christian – MLT a lead it wouldn’t give up and ultimately a 65-64 victory over second-ranked Neah Bay Monday night in Mount Vernon for the 1B Tri-District High School Championship.
Cedar Park Christian was without their regular season leading scorer Terry Eun, who was injured in the Lions’ previous game on Jan. 14 against Tulalip. Juniors Wilson Reidt and Ben Reidy picked up most of the offensive load for the Lions, with Reidt scoring 20 points and Reidy adding 17.

Cedar Park Christian – MLT will face Christian Faith at 6 p.m., with the winner advancing to the 1B state tournament in Spokane. Neah Bay takes on Waterville at 4 p.m. for a state tournament berth.
