The sale of the Cedar Park Christian School property between 54th Avenue West and 55th Avenue West to Afco & Sons closed recently for $4.3 million, NextMLT reports. This comes out to about $47 per square foot. Afco & Sons has plans to redevelop the site and build 52 townhomes.
Afco & Sons is the developer behind the Arbor Village and Atlas236 projects at the southeast and northeast corners of 236th Street Southwest and 56th Avenue West. Cedar Park Christian School also owns a parcel on the east side of 54th Avenue West. The school is currently only using these properties for athletics and other events.

Sad to see the Christian School no longer there. Do we really need more development, more people, more traffic and town homes? NO.
