Cedar Park Christian earns spot in Tri-District basketball championship

Cedar Park Christian – MLT secured a spot in the 1B Northwest Tri-District championship game with a 77-72 win over Tulalip Heritage Thursday night at Mount Vernon Christian School. The Lions will face Neah Bay in the tourney final on Monday, Feb. 18, in Mount Vernon. Tip-off is set for 6:45 p.m.

Cedar Park’s Wilson Reidt scored a game-high 18 points in the victory over the Hawks; Micah Patterson and Daniel Schettler each contributed 15, while Austin Schley added 13 points. Tulalip Heritage was led by Payton Comenote and Keanu Hamilton, each scoring 16 points in the losing effort.
