A physical therapist with Mosaic Physical Therapy has recently obtained a certification through The McKenzie Institute U.S.A.
The Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT) therapist certification recognizes clinicians who have completed specific coursework and passed a competency exam.
According to Mosaic Physical Therapy, MDT is a classification system used by musculoskeletal health providers to “differentiate between mechanical and non-mechanical sources of pain and functional limitation.” MDT therapists use repeated motions and sustained postures to assess symptom changes in patients. Murahashi is the only physical therapist in Mountlake Terrace with this certification.
