Burn ban lifted in Snohomish County

pscleanair_logoThe Snohomish County burn ban has been lifted, effective at noon Saturday, Jan. 9, the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency said.

Air quality levels are expected to remain below the triggers for burn bans through Sunday evening, the agency said. A stronger weather front is expected by Monday and should ensure better air quality into early next week.

There is a small chance that the burn ban could be reissued Sunday if pollution levels rise higher than expected Saturday night.
