Yesterday we ran a story about Bruno, the dog who ran away from the Smiths back in 2008. Since then he has been the dog of the Calhouns who found him.

Unfortunately the story isn’t ending up that great for the Calhoun’s. They have had Bruno (they named him Turner) for the past two years and their now three year old son has become quite attached to the dog. When they found out the original owner has been found, they were okay with the fact that Bruno would be returned. They just wanted a chance for their three year old son to say goodbye to the dog

It doesn’t look like that is going to happen. Matt Calhoun says that even though the girls that found the dog called the news initially, the girls are saying they won’t let the Calhoun’s say goodbye because there has been too much media attention.
