Brier-Terrace Middle School students recognized at national technology conference

Brier Terrace Middle School students Sean Moore, Joey Owens, AsiaLee Donnelly and Haeley Johnston were recognized during the 2012 National Technology Student Association conference in Nashville, Tenn. The four, all officers of the BTMS Technology Student Association club, accepted an award as a Chapter of Excellence. In addition, Moore took 1st place in Promotional Graphics and Moore and Johnston took 2nd place in Structural Engineering. Johnston also took 7th place in Career Prep. The chapter’s advisor, Todd Johnston, was recognized as the Washington State Middle School Advisor of the year. More than 5,000 participants from 48 states and three countries attended the conference.
