The Brier Library will have new hours of operation starting in June in an effort to better meet the needs of library customers, Sno-Isle Libraries officials announced.
Starting June 1, the Brier Library will be closed on Sunday and Monday, and open Tuesday through Thursday noon to 8 p.m., Friday noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday 11a.m. to 5. Previously the library had been open on Mondays but closed on Thursdays.
The changes in open hours are based on public feedback and recent patterns of library use. “Since we started publicizing our new hours, we’ve already received positive feedback from the community,” said Sandra Barnhart, temporary manager of the Brier Library. “Some customers have stated that with the library being open continuous days within the week, it will be easier to remember our hours.”
