Baseball: Bats sizzle as Hawks beat Grizzlies 9-5 Tuesday

MTHSHawks logoThe bats of the Mountlake Terrace High School baseball team were red hot on Tuesday as the Hawks scored in bunches and overwhelmed the Glacier Peak Grizzlies 9-5 in the first of a three-game series.

Terrace jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings of play and never trailed in their matchup against the Grizzlies at Glacier Peak High School. Hawk Dominic DeMiero led the hit parade by going 4-for-4 at the plate with two doubles and two RBI’s.

The series continues on Wednesday, this time on the Hawk’s home turf at Mountlake Terrace High School. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
