Thank you! Really nice to see this useful micro-local news on google news. And very well done. I love the intro! We didn’t know what a car prowl was until it finally happened to us in Lake Forest Park.
I would have liked to have heard some generic discussion about who typically commits this type of crime, apart from the specific man in the video. Are the perps most often adults, kids, amateurs, professionals, addicts or neighbors? Do they hit multiple houses during the same episode, leave by car, work in teams, etc.? And what happens to all their loot? Can sunglasses, quarters, umbrellas, cigarettes and cell phones make them rich?
Just summarizing the relevant published crime stats after the policeman speaks would help me understand why people might commit this crime. Finally, I’d like to know what happens to the individuals who are caught and convicted.
