Aramark laundered more than 750 gently-used coats for the Clothes For Kids School Wardrobe program.

“This saves our resources and our volunteer time allowing us to focus on other needs as we prepare for back to school shopping,” said Nancy Laird Burris, Program Manager for Clothes For Kids.

As Clothes For Kids prepares to serve more than 3,200 students during the 2015-16 school year, clothing donations and the ability to clean them is more important than ever.  To that end, Clothes For Kids has added a 24-hour drop box for donations of school clothing.

“No longer do our supporters have to come during our regular shop hours, they can simply drop their clothing donations in the box at our back door,” said Joy Ingram, Development Director for Clothes For Kids.

Despite the economic recovery, more families than ever are struggling with financial difficulties. To help relieve some of that economic stress, Clothes For Kids will open Aug. 24 for back to school shopping. Students that qualify for free or reduced lunch and are registered for school in Snohomish County or the Northshore School District can go to their school office and obtain a Clothes For Kids Requisition for Clothing form.
