The City of Mountlake Terrace Police Department is hosting a free seminar, discussing “Personal and Firearms Safety Tips,” Saturday, June 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the City of Mountlake Terrace Council Chambers, 6100 219th Street SW, Suite 220.
A similar class was taught in March. The class teaches the best practices for protecting yourself and your family.
This free course offers knowledge and resources in Personal and Firearms Safety. Topics include personal awareness, what to do and not to do when confronting criminals, deadly force encounters, when to shoot or not shoot, legal issues, concealed carry options, best firearms and personal defense equipment.
This class is not a physical personal defense class.
Sergeant Pat Lowe, a 20 year Law Enforcement Officer and Certified Firearms Instructor with the City of Mountlake Terrace Police Department, will instruct the seminar.
