Clarifying the boy was found in Brier.

Authorities canceled an Amber Alert for a 6-year-old Marysville boy Wednesday night after Mountlake Terrace police found the boy and his mother at a Brier home, KING-TV reported.

The 6-year-old boy, who has autism, went missing as Child Protective Services workers were trying to do a welfare check, our online news partner The Seattle Times said.

The boy was last seen at 1350 Cedar Avenue around noon Wednesday, according to the alert. His mother, Shannan Christine Guest, would not allow CPS workers to check on the boy earlier in the day, The Times said.
