All five starters on the Mountlake Terrace High School boys basketball team received recognition from Wesco League coaches as the all-league teams for the 2012-2013 season were announced this week.
Seniors Marquis Armstead and Blake Fernandez, and juniors Greg Bowman and Loren Lacasse were named to the All-Wesco South 3A First Team. Senior Jesse Zerom was given an honorable mention position from the league.
Hawks Bowman and Lacasse were the only juniors to received first team honors in the Wesco 3A South conference.
The four Hawks were joined on the first team by Shorewood’s Josh Hawkinson and Glacier Peak’s trio of Zach Pederson, Dreu Vader and Ramsey Rosales.
Mountlake Terrace begins play at the WIAA 3A Boys State Basketball Championships Thursday night against the Lincoln Abes at 7:15 p.m. in the Tacoma Dome. The game can be seen live on the Hawks Live Sports Network on MLTnews.com with the broadcast beginning with a special pre-game show at 6:45 p.m.
