PAWS will be one of 32 animal shelters across the state participating in the fourth annual Pawsitive Alliance’s hosted Open House on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Last year’s Statewide Shelter Open House placed 310 homeless pets into new homes. This year, Pawsitive Alliance is aiming for 400 or more adoptions.

The Statewide Shelter Open House is an ideal way to spend a Saturday with good friends, furry and two-legged, and to see the great work at animal shelters in your community.

During the week of Shelter Open House, PAWS will be offering special adoption fees: adult dog will be $100 (a $50 savings); and senior dogs will be $25 (a $50 savings). PAWS also will have fall themed decorations and treats for the public. A free PAWS Walk bandana will be giving for every adoption along with other goodies.

PAWS is located at 15305 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Saturday’s hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. with adoptions closing at 4:30 p.m. For more information call 425-787-2500.
