AAUW Edmonds SnoKing Branch recognizes  STEM scholars from local high schools

In lieu of an in-person ceremony — canceled this year due to COVID-19 — the Edmonds SnoKing Branch of AAUW is recognizing students from Edmonds School District high schools for outstanding achievement in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).

In addition, the AAUW announced Keren Seare, a senior at Edmonds-Woodway High School, as the winner of its $1,600 STEM scholarship. An International Baccalaureate candidate, Seare plans on majoring in computer science at the University of Washington this fall and will be a first-generation college student.
