5th Annual Costume Carnival Presented By Mountlake Terrace and Kontagious Dance Company

The City of Mountlake Terrace Dance Program and Kontagious Dance Company will host its fifth annual Costume Carnival on Saturday, October 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Terrace Park School Gym located at 5409 228th St. S.W., adjacent to the Recreation Pavilion. The event, which takes place in the school’s gym, includes harvest festival activities, dance and dance performances.

Dress in your finest, fanciest or funniest outfit and join in the fun. There will be costume contests, cakewalks, a magician, and a fortune teller. Take your chances at the Go-Fish Tank, decorate Halloween cookies, and jump in the bounceinator. Commemorative harvest photos will be available for $2.00. Performances by Kontagious and MLT Dance Program students will be ongoing throughout the event. Tickets available at the door.

There will be delicious snacks, exciting events, music, games and crafts. The admission fee is $5 per person or $10 for families (up to four family members). All proceeds will benefit the Mountlake Terrace Dance Company Scholarship Fund and the Kontagious Dance Company.

“Last year was a tremendous success and helped to raise much-needed funds for scholarships and performances,” stated Kristina Dillard, MLT Dance Programmer. “This year will be bigger and better than last year with many surprises!”
