Last week the City released its 2009 State of the City address from City Manager John Caulfield. The presentation was tilted “Safe, Healthy and Strong” and focused on the economy and how the City has mitigated the impacts of the recession. Other topics discussed were a number of capital improvement projects that have been approved by the Council as well as looking to the future and anticipating economic development in the commercial areas of Mountlake Terrace. The City press release states that “The City Manager concluded his address by noting that Mountlake Terrace is well-positioned for the future and the community’s best days are still ahead.” Read the entire press release here [pdf].
