For owner Nikolai Kulakevich, opening a bakery was his way of returning to his roots.
Growing up, he said, some of his favorite memories were inside his grandfather’s bakery, which opened in 1946 in Poland.
“Even before I started school, I always liked to mess in the kitchen,” Kulakevich said.
A variety of mousse cakes, cup cakes, cake pops, eclairs, brownies and pies were all for sale at the bakery, along with espresso and tea drinks. Kulakevich says they plan to offer even more items as they settle into the space, like bread and breakfast pastries, such as croissants and sweet rolls.
