Work to remove trees at Cedar Way Elementary School began on Monday.
Crews will be removing trees all week. Forty-nine trees in total will be cut down, several of them are 50 feet tall or taller. The removal is to make way for a redesigned driveway that will accommodate more vehicles for student drop-off, pick-up and buses. The project will be underway all summer and should be complete by Aug. 21.
