From the Sno-Isle Libraries website section titled “Your Library Stories” comes this report of 10-year-old Torren, who asked Mountlake Terrace Library staff for a piece of paper and if the library had a copy machine. “He wanted to make fliers for his summer dog walking business,” says Melody from the Terrace Library. “He made a draft with the paper but in our conversation, he realized he could print 70 free prints and use Microsoft Word to create an even better flier!”

With a little help, Torren had 20 fliers printed to give to his neighbors. “Next week, he’s coming back to make fliers for his car washing business,” Melody said. “This kid is going places.”
