On a cold night outside, the Mountlake Terrace boys basketball team turned up the heat inside on the visiting Lynnwood Royals and ran away with an 83-30 Saturday night at Mountlake Terrace High School.

For the second game-in-a-row Hawk senior Loren Lacasse led all scorers, hitting for 21 points; Lacasse tallied 25 points in the Terrace opener earlier in the week against Edmonds-Woodway. Three other Hawks scored in double figures Saturday – Greg Bowman scored 14 points, Gabe Altenberger scored 11 and Yohans Tewolde totaled 10.

Junior Matthew Moisant made his first start for the Hawks and contributed seven points.
Lynnwood was led by the 12 points of junior Tyler McArthur.
