Tae Kwon Do class takes training outdoors Monday
Story and photos by Doug Petrowski
Students of Seattle Tae Kwon Do, 22803-44th Avenue W, usually sweat it out indoors, but Monday they took their classes to Terrace Creek Park for their workouts and training.
“We do fun outdoor training just a couple days a year,” said Seattle Tae Kwon Do owner Brandon Richards. “It is a great way to train on rough terrain with lots of distractions.”
A staff of nine instructors at Seattle Tae Kwon Do lead some 100 classes each week for ages 2 1/2 through adults. Some of their classes will be back at the park Tuesday between 4-8 p.m. for additional outdoor instruction.
