The early-season struggles of the Mountlake Terrace High School softball team continued Monday as the Hawks dropped their third game in a row. Terrace fell to the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors 6-3 in a non-league match-up at Edmonds-Woodway High School.

The Warriors pushed five runs across in the first two innings, while Terrace could only score single runs in the second, fourth and seventh innings. Two MTHS players went deep in the game; Hannah Baisch and Hannah Wilcox each smacked solo home runs, but it wouldn’t be enough for Terrace to come back against the quick-starting Warriors.

The Hawks have a couple days to sort things out before their next matchup, a Thursday, March 27 clash against Monroe at Mountlake Terrace High School. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
