Science Magic show to kick off MLT Library Summer Reading program Saturday

The Mountlake Terrace Library begins its kids Summer Reading program with a special Science Magic show presented by local magician Jeff Evans. The event is set for Saturday, June 21, 11a.m. in the large meeting room of the library, 23300-58th Ave. W.

The show is free for all kids and their families, and is made possible by the support of the Friends of the Mountlake Terrace Library.

The Jeff Evans show kicks off the library’s Summer Reading program. Kids ages eleven and younger who read ten books or 1,000 pages and do two activities listed on the Sno-Isle.org website can win a free book and get entered into a drawing for a new bicycle.

Teens ages 12-18 can participate in Sno-Isle Libraries’ Teen Summer Reading program that will include events, contests and a webpage just for them. You can learn more about the teen program here.
