    Edmonds police joined with drug enforcement agents in a morning raid on an illegal marijuana-growing operation in the Seaview neighborhood. The home in the 18200 block of 80th Avenue West had been the subject of neighborhood complaints to police and others about suspicious activity and strong odors suggesting a sizable indoor marijuana farm. According to Edmonds police, the house has been under surveillance for some time. More information will become available as the investigation continues.
    Edmonds police joined with drug enforcement agents in a Wednesday morning raid on an illegal marijuana-growing operation in the Seaview neighborhood. The home in the 18200 block of 80th Avenue West had been the subject of neighborhood complaints to police and others about suspicious activity and strong odors suggesting a sizable indoor marijuana farm. According to Edmonds police spokesman Shane Hawley, 368 plants were seized following an investigation by the South County Narcotics Task Force that started in August 2015. The narcotics unit is working with the Snohomish County Prosecutors Office on charges, Hawley said.
