Romanowski named to 3A girls All-State first team

Mountlake Terrace junior guard Samantha Romanowski was named to the Associated Press All-State first team for 3A schools. Romanowski averaged 18 points per game for the Hawks, helping lead the team to an 18-6 record this past season.

Here are the other 3A girls players recognized:

CLASS 3A

 

Player of the Year — Makala Roper, sr., Cleveland.

 

First team — Makala Roper, sr., Cleveland; Myzhanique Ladd, sr., Cleveland; Jordan Rodriguez, jr., Sunnyside; Josie Matz, fr., Wilson; Samantha Romanowski, jr., Mountlake Terrace.

 

Honorable mention — Sidney Rielly, sr., Everett; Nicole Goecke, sr., Prairie; Shelby Cansler, so., Bellevue; Jayden Bush, fr., Bishop Blanchet; Linsey Honeycutt, jr., Ferndale.
