Lynnwood Bowl and Skate is preparing to celebrate its 60th anniversary on July 16 with a community event and car show.
However, before the celebration begins, General Manager Jessica White is asking community members who have photos of Lynnwood Bowl and Skate, formerly known as Lynnwood Lanes and Lynnwood Roll-A-Way, to share them.
“We adore this city and we understand the impact we have on the lives of families and kids in the area,” White said in a press release. “We want to honor our community and our customers. They are the reason we have been here so long.”
If you have any photos from years past to share with Lynnwood Bowl and Skate, email them to jessica@bowlandskate.com.
The event on July 16 will be held at Lynnwood Bowl and Skate, located at 6210 200th St. SW from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Car show registration proceeds will benefit Lynnwood YWCA’s Pathways for Women. Information on how to register and fees associated with your entry can be found here.
Celebration activities include a bouncy house, dunk tank and face painting. Cotton candy, popcorn, barbecue and a beer garden concessions will also be available for purchase.
In addition, Lynnwood Bowl and Skate will offer 60-cent bowling and skating to honor the anniversary.
