Red Onion Burgers ‘Dining for Dollars,’ ‘Laugh Out Loud’ comedy show to benefit injured Mountlake Terrace football player

Red Onion Burgers logoYou have two ways to support an injured Mountlake Terrace football player on Thursday, Jan. 8.

Red Onion Burgers is having a special Dining for Dollars event all day to benefit the family of Michael Hunt, a Mountlake Terrace senior football player, who suffered a severe broken leg in the first game of the season in September. Hunt spent four days in the hospital and continues to need physical therapy.

During the fundraiser 20 percent of the sales, 100 percent of the cash tips and 50 percent of the credit card tips will go to the family of Michael Hunt. Red Onion Burger’s Dining for Dollars usually takes place on Tuesdays but the restaurant is adding a day for the Michael Hunt family.

lolThen later in the evening, the Laugh Out Loud comedy show benefit show is set for 7:30 p.m. at Mountlake Terrace High School. The show features comedians Kermet Apio, Mike Coletta and Robert Pidde and is sponsored by Red Onion Burgers.

Tickets available at the door only for $10 (students, high school age minimum) and $20 (adults). Doors open at 7 p.m.
