Photographer David Carlos was in attendance at the service. From the church program:
Today’s program is to honor St. Francis of Assisi, who “loved all creatures great and small and treated them like family. And so, inspired by Francis, we gather today to honor and celebrate all creatures and the special relationships we share with them.”

“We gather today to give thanks to God for the animals in our lives, and for those in the wild.  And we gather to bless them.”
