Parks volunteers help clean up Ballinger Park in celebration of National Day of Service

An enthusiastic crew of Parks volunteers did some serious work Saturday morning at Ballinger Park in celebration of the National Day of Service.

Volunteers help remove weeds and cleaned up the area near to the Hall Creek pedestrian bridge. The Recreation Park Advisory Commission and the Neighborhood Park Improvement Subcommittee helped organize the event along with the City.

Volunteers included Dale Jeremiah, Helen Jeremiah, Dustin DeKoekkoek, Linda Rogers, Anne Bjornstadt, Beth Beck and Mika Harmon.
