MLTnews presents the Forever Home Dog of the Week, Diamond, a 6-year-old female miniature pinscher. Diamond was rescued from the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society after being abandoned by her family. Diamond loves to cuddle and is a very happy girl. She spent almost three months at the shelter and is so happy to be in her foster home. She does a little dance on her back legs whenever she hears her foster mom call her.
Diamond is blind due to uncontrolled diabetes. Despite her limitation, she gets around very well and does well with the other dogs in her foster home. Diamond receives a small injection of insulin twice a day with her meal. She’s a real trooper and doesn’t seem to mind the injections at all. The cost of her insulin is about $25 every other month.
Diamond is spayed, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and has been examined by the vet. Her adoption fee is $200.
If you are interested in adopting Diamond, here’s the process:
- Fill out the Adoption Application and email it to email@example.com
- Your application will be screened and you will receive a phone call with more information.
- A Meet and Greet will be set up. All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet.
- Pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog’s health records.
