Our ‘Forever Home’ Dog of the Week: Bobby
MLTnews presents the Dog of the Week, Bobby, a 3-year-old male Black Lab mix, from Forever Home Dog Rescue. You can find out more about Bobby below.
Forever Home Dog Rescue founder Diane Swanberg tells us that two Mountlake Terrace children had a lemonade stand over Labor Day weekend and donated the money to her rescue organization, and one of them had an opportunity to pose with Bobby. “He’s a really great dog,” Swanberg notes. “Loves to play fetch, great with other dogs and kids. He is a bit skittish with men at first, but if you throw the ball, he’ll be your best friend.”
Here’s Bobby’s story:
My name is Bobby. I’m a 3-year-old male Black Lab/mix. My family had to move me due to some changes in the family and housing. I miss my family, but I’m having a lot of fun in my foster home. There are lots of other little dogs to play with and my foster dad plays ball with me for hours at a time. I always get the ball before the other dogs and sometimes even catch it in the air. I love to cuddle or just curl up in my dog bed at night. I know some basic commands, like “sit”, “lay down” and “come.” I’m a very smart dog and can learn more if you’d like to teach me. I would love to have a new home with room to run or lots of visits to a dog park so I can get exercise. I’m very curious about cats, but so far, minding my manners with the cats in my foster home. I have been neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $350.
