Northwest Girlchoir is accepting new singers.

Northwest Girlchoir, which provides singing opportunities for over 250 Puget Sound-area girls ages 6-18, will be accepting new singers for both its auditioned and non-auditioned choirs until Friday, Jan. 22.

Openings are still available for girls in Prep Choir (a non-auditioned choir for grades 1-2) and in the upper level auditioned choirs (grades 3-12). You can sign up for Prep Choir or schedule an audition for the upper level choirs. Those joining Northwest Girlchoir this January will have the opportunity to participate in several mainstage concerts throughout the remainder of the season.

“Generous scholarships” are available at every choir level, the organization says. Learn more and sign up at www.northwestgirlchoir.org/choirprograms.

Girls entering grades 2-7 in fall 2016 are also invited to join Northwest Girlchoir’s annual Summer Sing Day Camp — a week of choral singing, instrument exploration, arts and crafts and group games. Register for Summer Sing before March 31, 2016 and receive a special early-bird discount at www.northwestgirlchoir.org/summersing.
