The Mountlake Terrace High School Community Event held on May 3 was the biggest fundraising effort ever by the school’s Sports Booster Club (SBC). Now the group is seeking advice on how to make the annual event even better.

The MTHS SBC has posted an online survey to get feedback on the day. “We are collecting responses from the quick ten question survey about the event, whether people attended or not,” said SBC Chair Tara Zuehl. “We really want to take the data polled and improve for next year.”

This year’s all-day Community Event included more than 100 vendors in the Sports and Wellness Fair, the Spring Bazaar and a rummage sale; a barbecue; a car wash; a blood drive and a Drive 4 Ur School test drive program. The amount of dollars brought in at the event had not been tabulated as of May 5, but “we definitely raised money for MTHS activities and students,” Zuehl said.
