MLtnews logoDue to the lack of rainfall and snow pack this year and the unusually hot summer, residents in the Puget Sound Region, including the City of Mountlake Terrace, are being asked to conserve water.

Reduce water use by letting lawns go dormant and limiting plant watering to twice a week. Limit evaporation by watering plants before 8 a.m. or after 7 p.m. Reduce shower time at home, work and the gym. This is a great time to check for and fix leaks in plumbing. Wash only full loads of laundry and dishes.
