A verbal domestic dispute was reported in the 24000 block of 49th Place West between a father and two sons. Nothing physical occurred. Domestic violence pamphlets were provided to all three parties.

April 3
A firearm was reported missing from the 22200 block of 48th Avenue West. The owner keeps the firearm under the front seat of his vehicle. He is not sure if it was stolen or fell out of the vehicle.

April 4
A license plate theft was reported in the 4400 block of 230th Place Southwest. Both license plates were missing, and the vehicle’s emblem was apparently stolen.

A vehicle theft was reported in the 21600 block of 60th Avenue West. About 12 minutes after it was reported stolen, Seattle Police reported the vehicle found.

A lost wallet was reported. The victim came to the police department and said he had last used it at Cinebarre on March 2. He said he thinks he left it on the counter after paying but it was gone when he went back later. He cancelled his card and renewed his license.

A theft was reported. The victim came to the police department to report her iPad had been stolen from her vehicle on March 18. She said she did not lock the vehicle and an unknown person took it.

April 5
A vehicle stolen from Tukwila was located in the 23400 block of 48th Avenue West.

A physical domestic dispute was reported between two men in the 5700 block of 239th Street Southwest. After interviewing the subjects and witnesses, one of the men was arrested.

April 6
A vehicle theft was reported in the 6300 block of Albion Way. The man reporting the incident said it was his girlfriend’s car and he believes her daughter took it. The keys that were in the nightstand next to his bed were missing. His girlfriend is now out of the country. She spoke to an officer over the phone and said her daughter does not have permission to use the vehicle. Later that night, the officer drove through a nearby parking lot and saw the vehicle had been returned. An email was sent by the man reporting the incident saying the daughter returned with the vehicle.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 6100 block of 236th Street Southwest. A transit bus driver reported someone with a backpack was breaking into vehicles. An officer contacted the suspect and noticed bulges in his jacket pockets, and he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or narcotics. He said he took a stereo faceplate from a car that was left unlocked. He was arrested for vehicle prowling and theft.

April 7
A vehicle prowl was reported in the 6000 block of 244th Street Southwest. Between 7:45 p.m. And 9:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a vehicle parked in a parking lot by smashing out the rear passenger window. A bag of music equipment worth $2,100 was stolen.
