MLT police shieldThe following are selected incidents from the Mountlake Terrace Police blotter.

Nov. 7

21800 block of 44th Ave. W. suspicious person. An unknown man walked onto Mountlake Terrace High School property and wandered around at about 7:27 a.m. He was observed laying on the ground with his eyes and mouth wide open with a blank look on his face. School officials provided still shots of the suspect. The school requested extra patrols in the early morning hours.

Nov. 9                 

22800 block of Lakeview Dr. Arson. A woman reported that her mailbox was damaged by a fire.

23100 block of 60th Ave. W. Theft. A man reported the theft of a 10-year-old battery and an outboard engine from a boat. The fuel line also was cut to the boat.

Nov. 10

5200 block of 216th St. SW. Theft. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Nov. 11

23100 block of 60th Ave. W. Theft. A man reported that someone tried to steal his vehicle, which was unlocked. The ignition was destroyed but no items were stolen from the vehicle.

21900 block of 58th Ave. W. Theft. A man reported that someone stole a grill, emergency roadside kick, cooler and clothing from his truck. The suspect left behind a screwdriver.

21900 block of 58th Ave. W. A man reported the theft of a knife, pepper spray, two phone chargers and clothing from his vehicle.

21500 block of 58th Ave. W. Theft. A man reported that all three of his family’s vehicles were prowled overnight. None of the vehicles were locked. Tools, clothing and a truck manual were missing.

Nov. 12

22900 block of 60th Ave. W. Theft. A woman reported the theft of paperwork, make-up and prescription drugs from her vehicle.

Nov. 14

24400 block of 48th Ave. W. DUI. A 27-year-old woman was arrested for DUI.
