The Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion will be operating under a special schedule for the next three weeks beginning on Friday, Dec. 21, through Sunday, Jan. 13. You can view the schedule here.
The pool, spa and sauna have a special weekend schedule Dec. 21-23 before shutting down to public use Sunday, Dec. 24, through Jan. 13. The pool area of the pavilion will undergo an annual inspection and regular maintenance during the closure.
While the pavilion’s holiday schedule includes a lengthy closure of the pool area, there are many other opportunities for recreation and training at the facility. For example, a special babysitters’ training class is being offered by the American Red Cross for youth ages 11-15. Participants will learn babysitting skills, first aid and child & infant CPR. The class is scheduled for Dec. 26-28, 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and costs $95 for Mountlake Terrace residents, $108 for non-residents. The fee covers all training, books, supplies and Red Cross certification costs.
