Sno-Isle Libraries logoSno-Isle Libraries and WorkSource Snohomish County are teaming up to offer a free resume workshop at the Mountlake Terrace Library that can help local job seekers get one stop closer to hearing the words, “You’re hired!”

“Create a Targeted Resume” is a free, two-hour workshop designed to give job seekers an edge in a competitive job market. With a resume that is targeted toward a specific job, applicants have a better chance of getting noticed by application screeners. Job seekers will learn to develop an effective, targeted resume by indentifying and packaging the skills that employers value.

The Mountlake Terrace Library workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2-4 p.m. Pre-registration is required online at www.sno-isle.org/explore/targeted-resume or by calling the library at 425-776-8722. The library is located at 23300-58th Ave. W. in Mountlake Terrace.

The same workshop will also be offered at the Lynnwood Library, 19200-44th Ave. W., on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2-4 p.m.

“Cultivating employment success is an important part of the Library’s mission,” said Ken Harvey, Communications Director for Sno-Isle Libraries. “Sno-Isle Libraries is committed to supporting the economic growth of our region. Getting the right people in the right jobs leads to greater productivity and job stability, which in turn contributes to the economic growth of the community.”
