MLT Friends of Library to hold annual meeting Friday

The Mountlake Terrace Friends of the Library are conducting their annual meeting on Friday, May 24, 3 p.m., at the Mountlake Terrace Library. Those interested in the work of the group, or learning more about the Friends of the Library, are encouraged to attend.

The Friends of the Library help support the library and its various programs and events that public funds cannot finance alone.

  1. Interesting that in FOL January 2013 minutes no one seemed to know how much money would be sent the Library’s way from the bond measure, had it passed. I wasn’t able to find March 2013 minutes so I don’t know if anyone found out.

    On page 208 of the Biennial plan there is a breakdown of roof/HVAC/furniture costs for the Library:

    If I read these minutes:

    from January correctly, it seems as FOL thought that part of the 30 year bond measure would be to purchase furniture(!).
