Merrill Gardens Mountlake Terrace Plaza will be hosting a class devoted to the subject of Alzheimer’s disease on Thursday, May 16, during their monthly Family Forum. “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters” will be presented from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
The class will cover how Alzheimer’s is diagnosed and why early detection is so important. Risk factors for the disease, related dementias and the role of genetics will also be discussed.
The free class is being presented by the Western & Central Washington Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Attendees are requested to register by Wednesday, May 15, at 206-529-3889 or Irhine@alz.org.
