Local Restaurants Participating in Tour de Terrace

There are going to be about a dozen food at Tour de Terrace this weekend. There will be your standard festival food: funnel cakes, roasted corn on the cob, etc. but a few local restaurants will be there as well serving serving up some delicious food.

Red Onion 02The Red Onion, who we have covered before (here and here), will be there serving their delicious burgers (best burger in MLT? I think so.) The Red Onion opened about two months ago and, as far as I can tell, has stayed pretty busy. There’s always cars in the parking lot and quite often people eating out on the picnic table out front. They recently got a great looking sign out front and they have really become a big part of the Town Center neighborhood.

Johnny Spuds shares a location with Sahara Pizza in the former Zen 244 on 244th. They say they will have a liquor license soon and have some outdoor seating for these nice sunny days we’ve been having.

Be sure to stop by the Red Onion or Johnny Spud’s at Tour de Terrace and support local Mountlake Terrace businesses.

The beer garden will feature beers by Ellersick Brewing. Though not technically within the Mountlake Terrace city limits, Ellersick Brewery is only 4 blocks north in Lynnwood on 208th. Big E’s has some of the best beer around so you’ll definitely want to stop by the beer garden. I hear there is also a Mountlake Terrace High School all-alumni gathering Saturday evening in the Big E’s beer garden.

We’re supposed to get beautiful weather this weekend so I am sure everyone will have a great time at Tour de Terrace this year. See our Ultimate Guide to Tour de Terrace 2009 for a full schedule of events.
