Reminder: Local dentist holding 4th annual ‘Cash for Candy’ campaign in support of troops

If your kids collected a little too much candy this Halloween, Mountlake Terrace-based Edmonds Woodway Dental Care and Dr. Michael Hrankowski will give each child $2 cash for every pound of candy brought to their dental office on Nov. 1-2. All candy received will be donated to the U.S. troops overseas.

“”Cash for Candy’” is our way of taking care of our neighbors,” Hrankowski said. “Kids can still satisfy a bit of their sweet tooth, we can promote better dental health and the campaign will provide a well-deserved reward to hardworking U.S. troops overseas.”

To participate, drop your candy off between 2-4 p.m. at Edmonds Woodway Dental Care, located at 6100 219th St. S.W. #530, Mountlake Terrace. The dental office will pay $2 for every pound of mixed candy delivered and there is a limit of five pounds per child.
