This Friday and Saturday in Edmonds, you are invited to CAFE — a new arts, community engagement, and wellness event. Retirement-age individuals committed to a vibrant lifestyle will learn techniques, skills, and activities to enhance their lives.

Cost of the entire two days is $75, and there are also single-ticket options at $35 or $55. The festival will feature three main events:

Edmonds Center for the Arts

Dr. Pepper Schwartz, TV personality, author and Yale-educated sociologist, will keynote the festival on the topic, “Love and Intimacy in Midlife and Beyond” [single-ticket price $35]

Friday, April 15

Edmonds Center for the Arts

Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra along with legendary composer Bill Holman will present compositions written for Stan Kenton, Woody Herman and Count Basie and will include this grand composer’s arrangements, “Flirt,” “Stompin’ at the Savoy” and “Just Friends.” [single-ticket price $35]
