Last week the Mountlake Terrace Hawks were flying high, winning three straight softball games by a combined score of 28-14. The team started this week with a 10-0 loss to the Kamiak Knights in six innings Monday.

The Hawks (3-3) could only muster two singles and a double against Knight pitcher Alisa Ortega, while Kamiak (2-2) pounded out a total of 13 hits in the game.

Terrace will have two chances at home this week to get back to winning form; on Wednesday the Hawks host Sedro-Woolley for a 4 p.m. match-up. Then on Friday they welcome Meadowdale for a big 3A Wesco South conference game, also starting at 4 p.m. The MTHS-Meadowdale game will be broadcast live on the Hawks Live Sports Network on MLTnews.com.
