Cheerleader stunts.
While the outcome wasn’t ideal — the Hawks dropped their season opener, a non-league game against Stanwood, 19-8 Friday night — the weather was perfect for late August football.
MTHS fans on the visitors side of the Stanwood High School stadium were bathed in sunshine and then treated to a full moon.
Friday night also marked the launch of the Hawks Sports Network, featuring live streaming of MTHS football games, home and away, all season long. Last night’s game is archived here.
