my newsA 15-year-old Edmonds-Woodway High School student reported to school authorities Thursday morning that a man attempted to lure her into his car along 220th Street Southwest near 76th Avenue West.

The student, who was unharmed, ran away and immediately reported the incident to school administrators, Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Mark Marsh said.

According to Marsh, the incident occurred about 6:50 a.m., when the man – described as a 20- to 30-year-old white male, bald and wearing glasses – asked her to get into his car. a gray or black four-door sedan, Honda or Audi, with tinted windows.

Officers did an area check but could not find the vehicle, described as a gray or black four-door sedan, Honda or Audi, with tinted windows, Marsh said. A bulletin was put out to surrounding police agencies as well.

The investigation will continue; however, there is no further suspect information at this time and no similar incidents have been reported, Marsh said.
