Wirth maintains lead, Palumbo pulling ahead of Moscoso in race for State Senator

Screenshot (516)Democrat Guy Palumbo is pulling ahead of Democrat Luis Moscoso in the latest election results posted Saturday night.

Republican Mindie Wirth maintains a strong lead above the two candidates, with 40.27 percent of votes throughout District 1.

Palumbo and Moscoso have been neck-in-neck for the second slot on November’s ballot since ballots were cast on Tuesday.

As of Saturday night, Palumbo now has 31.1 of votes while Moscoso has 28.63 percent.

Legislative District 1 contains Mountlake Terrace and Brier, as well as Bothell and Kirkland, among other areas in southern Snohomish and northern King counties.
