Goodbye Zen 244, Hello Johnny Spuds
Opening today is a new restaurant in Mountlake Terrace called Johnny Spuds & Sahara Pizza. Not sure exactly how it will work, but it is actually two restaurants under one roof. So if you feel like having fish ‘n chips and your friends wants pizza, you now have a place to go. According to their web site they will have a full bar as well. It will be interesting to see how well the place does considering there are a few other pizza restaurants in MLT and I believe they also serve fish ‘n. chips at TIme Out Burgers next door. You can check out the Johnny Spuds menu on their web site, they even have some coupons. If any of our readers end up trying the place out soon, write a review and send it to us and we might post it here on MLTnews.com. Johnny Spuds & Sahara Pizza opens today, June 13, at 11 AM. It is located in the old Zen 244 on 244th/205th, next to Time Out Burgers.
Hey there. I thought I'd send a quick update to this… I ordered a pizza from Johnny Spuds/Sahara Pizza last night. I had it delivered, took about 20 minutes or so. The pizza (the Sahara) was delicious! I'm a big fan of big crust, which this had a nice fluffy crust. We also ordered cheesy bread, that too was yumalicious. Have a good day!
